Health & Science
The UCOL Health and Science students develop their skills with UCOL industry connections. Students take part in clinical or practicum placements, working with a range of New Zealand organisations. This includes health care providers, social services, scientific institutes, gyms and veterinary clinics, to meet the needs of our curricula. These placements ensure that by the time they graduate, graduates have relevant and appropriate skills to offer.

Community Contributions
Studying Exercise and Sport Science at UCOL | Te Pūkenga gave Raphael Sa’u the opportunity to learn by working with real clients and develop as a sportsman.
UCOL | Te Pūkenga engages with community and industry in many ways – when studying nursing, for example, students are required to complete placements.
Grady Webb has taken a more interesting path than most people before deciding to study at the UCOL | Te Pūkenga Manawatū campus.
