As part of UCOL’s Graduate Diploma in Business Information Systems, Shardha Gautam had the chance to work with Booths Transport as an intern. Booths Transport is a local, family-owned business who offer nationwide road freight services, transportation and warehouse facilities. 

During Shardha’s 15 week internship, she worked closely with the team to collect, interpret, and analyse business data, identifying patterns that could enhance their business opportunities and profit.

“I love how the team at Booths allowed me to work independently. It showed that they trusted me and it made me feel confident that I would complete the project to a high standard,” explains Shardha.

Sharda initially struggled with certain software including Microsoft Excel, but now says she feels very competent and able to use it with confidence.

Booths were very happy with the final data and graph reports that Shardha presented at the end of her internship.
